Tropicare is a Netherlands-based specialist in travel and health, with a strong presence across Europe. Under their CarePlus brand name they have developed an extensive range of travel healthcare products - insect protection, sun protection, first aid and hygiene.
With a background in pharmaceuticals, CarePlus has a deep understanding and expertise in specialty travel products. As well as being at the forefront of product development, they also have an initiative called Drive Against Malaria where for every mosquito net sold, they donate another to African people - this has resulted in thousands of families protected over recent years.
The CarePlus brand is relatively new to the UK and Ascent Marketing Communications is retained as its UK marketing and public relations consultant, building brand recognition and product demand through pro-active trade and consumer media promotion.
